Apricot Branding

Allied Visions Apparel

Allied Visions Apparel is a startup clothing line based in Massachusetts. The brand exists to unite everyone local with big dreams. Allied Visions is rooted in Hip Hop music and can be described as Independent, Different and Powerful.

The Challenge

Allied Visions is about linking different worlds together. It’s about growth, risk taking, going after those goals and dreams you’ve always had. It is everyday leisure wear that keeps up with the changes in the industry and supports local artists.

The key challenge was to develop a symbol that would stand out as bold and communicate the meaning behind the brand. We were hoping to launch before the end of 2018 in order to start promoting and producing merchandise.

The Solution

The design approach uses precise symmetry and Gestalt. It incorporates a key hole into the white space with 2 beams of light shooting out to represent the concept of unlocking potential. It represents opening new doors and shows that there is no limit to anything you set your mind to. The logo also uses the golden ratio as a guide to maintain ideal proportions. This also helps to make it more visually attractive to the eye. The design is easily responsive/scalable and can adapt to various color backgrounds.

This project is ongoing because they will also need future design work for more apparel productions. They will also receive answers to any questions regarding online presence, screenprinting, embroidery, DTG and other forms of print. Below is the finished identity design as well as how the photoshoot came out.

The Allied Visions Apparel visual identity is bold and symmetrical, combining the golden ratio with gestalt to maintain balance and ideal proportions. It represents unlocking potential and opening new doors.
